The Acadia 46/50 High Speed Power Boat

This design was originally commissioned by a down east boat builder, but is most definitely not a lobster boat in the usual sense. Rather, it's a modified vee bottom with traditional New England topsides architecture targeted to semi-custom, twin screw, high speed applications. With a running surface descended from one of our best performing models, you can expect 30+ knot cruise speeds and 40+ knot sprint speeds from a 36,000 pound 46-footer with 1,300 installed horsepower. What's more, properly set up and piloted, you can maintain a 20+ knot cruise in conditions that would keep many craft of similar size at the dock.

This mold is for a hull only but includes an insert for laminating either a 46 or a 50 footer. It is very high quality tooling, exceedingly fair, crafted with care by one of the old Maine masters. It has been properly covered and stored since new and HAS NEVER BEEN USED. Asking Price: $60,000
